Year after year, thousands of visitors and residents witness how dozens of stray animals roam around the streets and roads of Tarifa.

 

Due to this occurrence, Tarifa Natura has launched “tarifa project”; a project created for the purpose of sterilizing those stray animals. Animals that have a short life-span due unhygienic and unhealthy lives and leave behind numerous litters that will most likely repeat the same cycle time and again.

 

Tarifa Natura’s main goal is to prevent the increased number of orphaned animals in the area. In order to achieve this, stray animals would be caught, sterilized, marked and returned to their environment in a controlled and sanitarily sustainable way. These methods would solve the problem in a short amount of time, thus preventing the uncontrolled reproduction and the negative consequences that occur for the animals (malnutrition, parasites and painful deaths) as well as for humans (traffic accidents, dissemination of garbage, malodor, insects, etc).

 

This message will initially be sent to 5000 individuals. If each person who receives this message shares this message and donates even only one euro, we would have enough funding to implement a great campaign for the sterilization of stray animals in Tarifa.
